Nicole Frei
is a costume and stage designer and working across disciplines somewhere between fashion and performing arts. She completed her studies in scenography at the Zurich University of the Arts and later pursued a Master’s in Fashion Design at the University of Art and Design Basel. Nicole’s work explores artistic methods with chronic illness like practices of Cripping, challenges production methods in the performing arts, and emphasizes sustainability in her processes through exploring traditional crafts. Since 2021, she has been working in the Master of Transdisciplinarity Studies program at the Zurich University of the Arts.
