Medea, die
Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik, 2019
Medea is a symbol of resistance. She represents the anger of the oppressed and possesses magical powers that trigger fear and horror or cause confusion. The Three directors, Katharina Cromme, Leonie Graf and Phil Hayes, deal with different aspects of the ancient myth in three episodes. From the prehistory in Colchis to the events in Corinth to the point in time when Medea will claim her hospitality in Athens. The audience traverses the various landscapes as if in a triptych.
